Cerec® 3D, version 3, was unveiled in Chicago in February and at the IDS, Cologne in March 2007. Dr. Dipak Joshi, in a sneak preview, highlights and summarises the improvements of the new release.

The new Cerec® 3D upgrade has taken yet another leap forward, especially so in the Oclussal surface design software. The appearance of the screens has been updated. This has made the functions easier to understand as well as being visually aesthetic. (See picture opposite).

Biogeneric Tooth Modelling
The software now provides a completely new method of calculating and proposing an Oclussal design function. Gone are the days of awkward proposals on Inlays and onlays.
